Creation of an overhead crane driving simulator. Physical workstation with reconstructed and interfaced controls. The operator initiates missions and experiences real-time manipulations on a large screen (or 3D glasses, depending on the model).

Objectives

To enhance safety and improve the skills of crane operators to work efficiently.
To prevent incidents and collisions caused by piloting errors. Errors can be detrimental to the continuous casting loading cycle, leading to costly damages and even causing serious injuries to ground personnel.
