Teaching method
- This training module is based on an inductive pedagogical approach that encourages learners to engage with key concepts of pain management through concrete situations. The learner is placed in a position to discover various care situations. He/she must analyze each situation and find appropriate solutions for patient care. He/she is invited to express what he/she knows, thinks, and represents in regards to the topic.
- This inductive learning method allows the learner to gradually consolidate their knowledge and give it meaning.
- To facilitate learner engagement, the module is constructed as an interactive “photo novel” storytelling experience.
